(TIWA)
here I stand in this place
with the things of yesterday helping me
with my life
where can I go
with my life.
things are different now, things are different now
things are different now, things are different now
here you are at this place and this time
you're crossing a river to the future
Ahn wah wah eeh (my Life)
now you can't look back anymore
cause you know you've been there before
things are different now, things are different now
things are different now, things are different now
(TIWA)
here we all stand
with the teachings of the past helping us
things are different now, things are different now
things are different now, things are different now
years have passed and I've grown stronger finding out where I belong, dreams are clear it's all so different now.
things are different now, things are different now
nah mah seaal leemah
things are different now, things are different now
years have gone where do we go now, dreams are clear and it's all so different now
things are different now, things are different now
things are different now, things are different now
Blessings to you all with patience we all shall see the truth,
Mirabal

YAY CORN !!! ♥
I don't think your blog it's simple..it has a nice elegant graphic. I love to create blogger-graphics, so I can say your blog it's really nice.I loved the pink-version,too.Complex notions, yes, I agree. It's because you write about your life, and life sometimes it's not so easy. But if we are happy and smile always (or try to do it) all it's so easy.
This song is beautiful, and the video is really good. How many patience to help to grow a corn field? I can just imagine..with my little strawberry's plant.
Have a nice day, blessings for all your family and for you.
your welcom its a good feeling when hard work is done by hand..
YAY HARD WORK..!

AWESOME ! Been listening to the song for a long time...so glad to know the Tiwa words now !!! LOVE IT ! Many blessings to You & the Family & Farm !!!
I've been working my garden in Ranchos. Love the feel of earth in my hands. Feel humbled when the first shoots appear. Will feel grateful when the fruit is yielded.
Your neighbor.
Raven Brother,
Thank you for sharing your process and patience with the earth. That was an exquisite duet!
I am at a place where I can truly relate to the words of your song...
Love & Blessings to you, dawn and the kids
~Ninja Corn
Thank you for your work. In 1971 I moved to N.M. from a frantic music/improv. theatre scene in Chicago, needing healing. A man from Taos gave me an ear of blue corn and said "Plant this, it will change your life". I did, and it did. The awesome gratitude I felt from the circle of planting/growing/harvesting was so big I had to DO something. So I made a "harvest man" with the husks and cornsilk and put it in the field. That action opened another door. In order to live the Corn Life, and having been instructed never to sell the seed, I made figurines, selling at farmer's market in Santa Fe, accumulating a seed bank that I just passed on to a young man in Pecos, committed to the corn. I heard you say once that the cornfield can make you cry. So True. I came to call it Corn Consciousness. It brought Grace to my life.
Happy fathers day mirabal
