Po'Pay Returns. . .

. . . Or was he ever really gone?

In Pueblo culture, we believe there are certain people who don't actually die, they just kind of evolve into something else.

What if Po'Pay has been here the whole time?  During the World Wars? During the Great Depression?  "Living for the past 331 years in a cornfield north of Taos, analyzing life, traveling the world and spending time with the likes of Wovoka the Paiute prophet, Jim Morrison, Kit Carson, Georgia O’Keeffe and Mabel Dodge Luhan." (Santa Fe Reporter)

It's hard to believe the show has started.

It's too late to turn back now, eh? (Heehee.)

I truly hope to see you there, it's been a long time preparing, writing, memorizing, rehearsing, embodying - a lot of -ings there.

Performances will be held from August 16 - September 4 at the Lodge at Santa Fe.  For more information, please contact Danette Lovato at 505.242.8355 or purchase tickets here.

Chai is a word from India, it means simply "tea" but many English speakers now use it to mean the spiced drink made with tea in it, usually sweeten'd and with milk added.

What are Po'pays' plans once this run is done. How about coming to California to do a performance. The place I live in needs exposure and so does Po'pay to the public. I live in the 1st and only currently existing all new construction green sustainable arts community in the world. One of the main features is our theater/gallery with an open air amphitheater courtyard for performances . It's called the WAV pronounced "wave" it stands for "Working Artists Ventura". Google it you'll see. Getting exposure to build more of these around the world is critical for the push to have more construction done this way it's all recycled materialz, solar panels, and state of the art water heating and cooling tech stuff. Get back to me if you can my frend.

Thank you for bringing Po Pay to us. Was there friday night. Often we wonder, is what I do enough? Live by example, be the change, pray, plant corn. When underneath there still lives a take to the streets militant who is still outraged, now, maybe more than ever. You made me think of a tshirt: all black, ear of multicolored corn across upper chest, below "What Would Po Pay do? or "What would Po Pay say?"use if you want, it's yours. Rain upon your fields Robert. With gratitude and love, Glenda Murphy, Canoncito NM

I do not think it is mere coincidence that once Po'Pay began to "Speak" we started to receive the rain we so dearly need here!!

It was great getting the chance to chat with you at Market yesterday Robert! You are truly a visionary and an inspiration. Keep doing what you do, as it enriches our world!

Being fluent in Hebrew I can concur that YES Chia or Hai is the hebrew word for LIFE. There is a "Symbol" which is simply the 2 hebrew letters that make up the word, and a great connection with the number 18 and its derivitivs. The word Chaya, means living thing or in translation an animal.

Cant wait to see the show one Thursday soon!
